- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon chopped, fresh sage

Instructions
- In a large bowl, soak fresh breadcrumbs in milk for 2–3 minutes.
- Add minced onion, garlic, sage, parsley, Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, and eggs; mix thoroughly.
- Incorporate ground turkey with salt and pepper until just combined.
- Form into meatballs using a 2-tablespoon scoop and freeze for 20–25 minutes.
- Sear meatballs in a skillet with olive oil until browned and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- For the sauce, sauté onion and garlic in ghee; stir in pumpkin puree, chicken stock, seasonings, and simmer.
- Combine cooked meatballs with sauce and serve warm.
