- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In another bowl, combine warm milk and melted butter; add to dry mixture with the egg.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth. Let it rise in an oiled bowl covered with a cloth until doubled (about 60 minutes).
- Prepare the filling by beating cream cheese with sugar and vanilla. Fold in strawberries and jam.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter over it. Add filling and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Roll tightly into a log, cut into equal pieces, and let rise again in a greased baking dish for about 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
- For the glaze, mix softened cream cheese with butter and powdered sugar; add milk for desired consistency.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
