Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat or oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Chop cabbage into bite-sized pieces, slice sausage into 3/4 inch thick pieces, cut red onion into slivers, and slice carrots thinly.
- Place four double sheets of heavy-duty foil on a flat surface. Lightly spray each with non-stick spray.
- Distribute cabbage, carrots, and onions evenly among the foil sheets; season with salt, pepper, and thyme. Add about 1 tablespoon of butter to each portion.
- Top each vegetable mix with sausage slices.
- Carefully seal the packets by folding the foil tightly around the ingredients.
- Cook on the grill for 20-25 minutes or in the oven for 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through.
