- Ginger garlic sauce (soy sauce, oyster sauce, sambal oelek, honey, ginger, lime juice, garlic)
- Rice noodles
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, sambal oelek, honey, ginger paste, lime juice, minced garlic, green onions, rice vinegar (optional), and cornstarch (optional). Reserve 3/4 of the sauce for marinating.
- Marinate the ground chicken and peanuts in the reserved sauce for 15 minutes.
- Soak rice noodles in warm water until softened; drain and cut into smaller pieces.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated chicken mixture for about 10 minutes until cooked through.
- Stir in soaked noodles and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Assemble by scooping filling into lettuce leaves and garnish with cilantro and green onions before serving.
