Instructions
- Remove steaks from the refrigerator 30-60 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature. Pat dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.

- Place steaks in the hot pan and sear without moving for 4-5 minutes per side until browned.
- During the last minute of cooking, add butter, garlic, and thyme to the pan, basting the steaks with the melted butter.
- Check doneness using a meat thermometer; remove from pan and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
