Instructions
- Pat cod fillets dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Sear cod fillets for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a gentle simmer while scraping the skillet's bottom.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream; let simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- Return cod fillets to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and heat through for an additional 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
