  • 1 ¼ teaspoons fine sea salt
  • 6 ounces white chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon culinary matcha powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, sifted matcha powder, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix mochiko and sea salt; gradually add to wet ingredients while stirring gently.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the ganache, heat heavy cream until simmering; remove from heat and stir in white chocolate chips and matcha until smooth.
  7. Once brownies are cool, cut into squares and drizzle with ganache.
