- 1 1/2 lbs. flank steak
- 2 T balsamic vinegar
- 2 T fresh-squeezed juice
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 T olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Steak rub
Instructions
- Combine balsamic vinegar, fresh-squeezed juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and olive oil in a mixing bowl to create the marinade.
- Trim excess fat from the flank steak and apply your choice of steak rub generously.
- Place the seasoned steak in a Ziploc bag and pour in the marinade. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
- Preheat your grill to high heat (450-500°F).
- Drain excess marinade from the steak and grill diagonally for about 3 minutes per side for nice marks; flip and cook until the internal temperature reaches 130°F for medium-rare.
- Let it rest covered with foil for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
