Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the vanilla cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy; spread over the first layer of batter.
- Spoon the remaining batter over the cream cheese layer evenly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk cocoa powder and milk together; drizzle over the top layer of batter.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
