- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the chopped onions and garlic; sauté until fragrant and translucent (about 5 minutes).
- Increase heat slightly; add ground beef and cook until browned (about 7 minutes), breaking up clumps for even cooking.
- Stir in diced carrots and cook until softened (about 5 minutes).
- Add crushed tomatoes and beef broth; season with Italian seasoning. Stir well.
- Bring to a gentle simmer; reduce heat to low and cook uncovered for about 30 minutes.
- Serve over gluten-free pasta or zoodles; garnish with parsley or cheese if desired.
