Ingredients
Scale
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 16 oz fresh or frozen gnocchi
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Dice the chicken into bite-sized pieces and mince the garlic.
- Sauté the chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Season diced chicken with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown and fully cooked through (6-7 minutes). Remove from the pan.
- Add garlic: In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Create the sauce: Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a simmer while scraping up any bits from cooking the chicken. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add gnocchi: Add gnocchi directly to the skillet; cook for about 5 minutes until they float.
- Combine: Return cooked chicken to the skillet; mix everything together and cook for an additional two minutes.
