Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Alternately mix in dry ingredients and buttermilk until just combined.
  5. For the filling, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter into a paste.
  6. Spoon half the batter into the pan, add dollops of filling on top, swirl gently, then add remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
