- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup brown sugar (for filling)
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon (for filling)
- 2 Tbsp melted butter (for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 Tbsp milk (for glaze)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
- In another bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Alternately mix in dry ingredients and buttermilk until just combined.
- For the filling, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter into a paste.
- Spoon half the batter into the pan, add dollops of filling on top, swirl gently, then add remaining batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before glazing with powdered sugar mixed with milk and vanilla.
