  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season sirloin pieces with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steak until browned (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove from heat.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in flour to form a roux; gradually whisk in milk and beef broth until smooth.
  4. Add cheddar cheese and stir until creamy.
  5. Cook tortellini according to package directions but slightly undercook them. Drain and toss with olive oil.
  6. In a greased baking dish, combine tortellini, seared steak, and cheese sauce. Mix gently. Top with shredded mozzarella.
  7. Bake uncovered for about 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
