Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Mix in room temperature eggs, molasses, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, ground ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the edges are firm.
- Allow cooling completely in the pan before dusting with confectioners' sugar and cutting into squares.
