  • Total Time: 27 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 6

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose seasoning (e.g., Spike Seasoning)
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Trim any visible fat from the chicken breasts and cut shallow slits across each breast for better marinade penetration.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, seasoning blend, basil, oregano, onion powder, sage, and black pepper.
  3. Place the chicken in a Ziploc bag or container and pour in the marinade. Seal and let marinate in the fridge for at least 5-6 hours (overnight recommended).
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat after cleaning it.
  5. Drain the marinade and grill each chicken breast for about 3-4 minutes on one side until grill marks appear. Flip and cook for another 4-6 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165F (74C).
  6. Allow to rest before serving hot.
