- 5 large croissants (preferably day-old), cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup granulated sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer the croissant pieces evenly in the baking dish and sprinkle chocolate chips over them.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissants, pressing down gently with a spatula to help soak.
- Allow to sit for 10–15 minutes for better absorption.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
- Cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving warm with fresh berries or whipped cream.
