  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 and 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz raw rotini pasta
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Gather and chop garlic.
  2. In the crockpot, combine chicken broth, chicken breasts, pressed tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
  4. Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot along with whipping cream, rotini pasta, and parmesan cheese.
  5. Cook on high for an additional 15 minutes or low for 30 minutes until the pasta is tender.
  6. For the crunchy topping, melt butter in a pan and toast breadcrumbs until golden brown before serving.
