Ingredients
- 1 ⅔ cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Brown sugar or granulated sugar
- ¼ cup Cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Water
- ⅓ cup Vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon White vinegar
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
- Optional: ½ cup Chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In an ungreased 8"x8" square baking pan, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Stir in water, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract until fully blended.
- Optional: Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the batter.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
