Ingredients
- 1 box devil's food cake mix (plus ingredients as directed)
- 2 cups melted peanut butter
- 1 cup chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
- 1 cup Reese's Pieces
- For frosting: 1 cup peanut butter
- 10 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line and grease a 9"x13" baking pan; prepare cake batter per package instructions and pour into the pan.
- Bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean; allow to cool completely.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake using a wooden spoon's back; pour melted peanut butter over the top.
- In a large bowl, cream peanut butter and butter together; mix in powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt until fluffy.
- Gradually add heavy cream to achieve desired consistency; spread frosting evenly over the cake.
- Top with chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Reese’s Pieces.
