- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Pour melted butter into the bottom of the pan, sprinkle brown sugar evenly over it, then spread cherry pie filling on top.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the cherry filling and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow cooling for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving platter.
