  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • Piece of red bell pepper (for tongues)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut black olives into small pieces for eyes and slice red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll pizza dough on a clean surface and cut into 12 equal strips.
  4. Roll each strip into a rope approximately 12 inches long, tapering one end for the tail and flattening the other for the head.
  5. Wrap each rope around greased chopsticks or metal straws spirally.
  6. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle poppy and sesame seeds on top.
  7. Add olive pieces as eyes on each snake's head.
  8. Bake on parchment-lined sheets for 11 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly, then insert red pepper pieces into the flat end for tongues.
