Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400° F and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In one bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon for the crumble. Add melted butter until clumps form; set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon together; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter until fluffy. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually incorporate half of the dry mixture into the wet ingredients followed by milk; mix until combined. Fold in remaining dry mixture and diced apples gently.
- Fill muffin cups three-quarters full with batter and sprinkle crumble on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
