- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture along with sour cream until just blended. Fold in diced apples gently.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Pour remaining batter over it and finish with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
